Why did I get an email about a transfer going in or out my Cleo Wallet?
Why did I get an email about a transfer going in or out my Cleo Wallet?

You’ve got an email about a transfer you don’t remember making.

We’re required by law to bombard you with emails about what’s happening with your money - where it’s been, where it’s going, who it’s heading to a bar with this evening etc.

We know, it’s a lot. Email filters are your friends.

When you move money into your Wallet manually or if Cleo makes an autosave for you then she’ll send you an email to let you know.

The email gets sent when the transaction has been created, not when it has cleared. Read up on transaction times for more info on this.

When you manually take money out your Wallet and put it into your bank account, Cleo will also send you an email.

You might want to cancel a transaction, but there’s only a short window of time you can do this.

If you’re a Cleo Plus subscriber, you might get some more emails about cashback, subscription payments or subscription refunds.
