Making sure that all of your transactions are correctly categorised will improve Cleo's chances of getting your budget right. 

 🛒 You can change the category of a transaction by heading over to your dashboard, clicking on the dropdown menu beneath the transaction and selecting a new category.

❌ Excluding a transaction will remove it from your budget and insights. Once you've reached your dashboard, head to your transaction list, click on the dropdown menu and select 'Excluded' from the list. 

📚 For example, if Cleo thinks that transfers from your savings to your checking account are income, recategorising them as 'Excluded' will stop this from happening. 

You should also go to accounts and hide any accounts you don't want Cleo to look at by clicking the eye icon 👁 

📚 For example, if you only want Cleo to calculate a budget based on the spending you do with your checking account, you should hide any savings accounts. 

Cleo should automatically update your account twice daily, but you can ask her to refresh your accounts to give you your balance within the last 12 hours 

💬 You can refresh your accounts by heading back to the App and saying "refresh" to Cleo. 

Your balance might be wrong because Cleo is looking at the wrong accounts. For example, you want your checking account balance but Cleo is including your savings balance. 

Go to accounts and hide any accounts you don't want Cleo to look at by clicking the eye icon 👁 For example, if you only want Cleo to give you updates on your checking account, you should hide any savings accounts you have attached.

Make sure your accounts are connected properly by heading to your accounts page 

💬 You can head to accounts any time by saying "accounts" to Cleo.

Check that none of your accounts need reconnecting by heading to your accounts page. 

Hide any accounts you don't want Cleo to look at by heading to your accounts page and clicking the eye icon 👁 

For example, if you only want Cleo to give you updates on your checking account, you should hide any savings accounts you have attached.

⚙️ If Cleo's got some of your personal details wrong, just head over to your profile settings page.
